Why We Built SheetIntel
Pre-bid plan review is one of the highest-leverage activities in construction. Every scope gap caught before contract is signed saves the cost of catching it in the field — typically 3–5× more expensive at that stage. But thorough review is hard. A 200-sheet commercial plan set takes an experienced estimator 6–8 hours to work through properly. On a 48-hour bid turnaround with three other projects in queue, something gets missed.
We built SheetIntel to solve the time problem without compromising the quality of review. Our AI reads every sheet across all disciplines simultaneously — cross-referencing spec sections, flagging coordination conflicts with specific sheet and detail callouts, surfacing "by others" scope language systematically. A 50-page plan set that takes an estimator 4 hours reviews in under 10 minutes.
